How Colostomy UK can help after stoma surgery
The registered charity offer support in varying ways
Ostomy surgery can be a lifesaving surgery, but the emotional adjustment can be very difficult long after physical recovery. That’s why Colostomy UK was founded in 1967.
A national registered charity, Colostomy UK supports both people with stomas and who are about to have stoma surgery. Their aim is to empower ostomates to get the most out of life, from everything from returning to work, hobbies and relationships to making plans without the constant anxiety and feeling normal again, even if life is a little bit different!
