Stoma advocate Ant Andrews-Lockett reviews the “incredible” Ostomate Journal

Ant Andrews Lockett Reviews The Ostomate Journal

Eakin Ostomy Ambassador and host of Beyond the Pouch Ant Andrews-Lockett shares his thoughts on The Good Bowel Company’s first journal

In 2020, Ant Andrews-Lockett had a stoma surgery and has been sharing his story and experience on his Instagram @ibdlife since.

We were delighted to collaborate with Ant with a giveaway competition. In his video, he shares how he would have loved to have had The Ostomate Journal during his surgery. “It has so many incredible things,” he says, “six weeks meal plans; what you can eat and shouldn’t eat during the first six weeks, urine hydration charts to track your fluid intake, reintroduction of food for what’s working for you along with symptoms and reactions, exercise, stoma output tracking and so much more!”

Lauren was the winner of giveaway competition. “I would love to win The Ostomate Journal as I am awaiting an ileostomy surgery,” she commented.

We caught up with Lauren, and this is what she said when she received her journal:

“The Ostomate Journal is absolutely perfect! I love it! This will be such a big help for me when I have my surgery soon.”
