In a world where marshmallows can be ridden with artificial additives, however, The Marshmallowist have a simple philosophy: handcrafted gourmet marshmallows using only real, natural ingredients.

Last week, we road tested the vanilla organic white bean and chocolate marshmallow – so soft and light, every bite is truly divine. They also come in a lovely white and purple box with a ‘Mallow Love’ card. We knew we’d love to partner with them!

The Marshmallowist was founded by Paris-trained patisserie and chocolatier Oonagh Simms and her sister, Jenny. Now with a bakery in Leeds, Oonagh’s souffle-like marshmallows use natural ingredients: fruit, organic herbs and spices and fish gelatine. This makes them egg, dairy and gluten-free, as well as halal, pescatarian and kosher.

The Marshmallowist supply some of the UK leading stores – Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and John Lewis – to name just a few.
